Picked a coating and need someone to put it on? That’s what we do. We’re an applicator, not a paint company. We’re certified to apply Cerakote, Whitford Xylan®, Belzona, Sherwin-Williams, PPG, Hempel, Jotun and Carboline liquid systems. Send us the spec from your engineer, the OEM or the coating maker and we’ll apply it the way the manufacturer says to, in our shop or at your site.

Why the coating maker sends you to an applicator

Coating manufacturers make and sell the product. Most don’t apply it. The coating only performs if the surface prep, film build and cure are done right, which is why they point you to a certified applicator. That is what AEGIS does.

Whitford Xylan®	Dry film lubricant and fluoropolymer coatings for fasteners, bolts, valves and moving parts that need low friction and corrosion resistance.
Belzona	Repair composites and coatings for pumps, valves, shafts and equipment that need rebuilding and protection.
Sherwin-Williams	Industrial protective and marine coatings for structural steel, equipment and facilities.
PPG	Protective and marine coatings for steel, equipment and industrial assets.
Hempel	Marine and protective coatings for ship parts, offshore equipment and structural steel.
Jotun	Marine and protective coatings for shipbuilding, offshore and industrial steel.

Coating review. Send photos, the part, the service environment and your outage window, or your existing coating spec. Engineering specification within one business day.
Quote within three business days.
Coat it in our Elkton, MD shop or on site with mobile prep and cure rigs, scheduled to your maintenance window.
Verify. Thickness, hardness and cure are measured and documented before parts ship or before we leave.

What we don’t do

We coat accessible surfaces. We don’t do confined space entry, tank or vessel linings, or heat exchanger internals.

Who can apply this coating for me?

AEGIS Advanced. We’re a coating applicator in Elkton, Maryland, certified to apply Cerakote, Whitford Xylan, Belzona, Sherwin-Williams, PPG, Hempel, Jotun and Carboline liquid applied systems, in our shop or on site.

Do you sell coatings?

No. AEGIS is an applicator. We apply the coating you specify, or recommend one.

Who is a certified Cerakote applicator for industrial parts?

AEGIS Advanced is a factory trained, certified Cerakote applicator for industrial parts.

Can you apply Belzona to a pump or valve?

Yes. AEGIS is certified to apply Belzona systems, in our shop or on site.

Do you do powder coating?

Not at this time. We apply liquid systems.

Are you ISO 9001 certified?

Yes, for over three years, recertified in 2026. AS9100 certification is in progress.
