Shipyard and Navy corrosion coating services

Looking for a coating contractor for shipyard or Navy work? We can help. We apply corrosion and wear coatings for shipbuilding, ship repair and the suppliers who build parts for them. We do it in our Elkton, Maryland shop or out at the yard, including big parts that won’t fit in an oven. You’ll have a spec within a day and a quote within three.

Send us the part Talk to an engineer

Already have a spec? We’ll apply it. Most people who call us already know what coating they want. Their engineer picked it, or the OEM did. We’re certified to apply Cerakote, Whitford Xylan®, Belzona, Sherwin-Williams, PPG, Hempel, Jotun and Carboline liquid systems, and we follow the manufacturer’s process for prep, film build and cure. No spec yet? We’ll help you pick one.

What we coat for shipyards

  • Topside and deck hardware exposed to salt air and splash
  • Structural steel, foundations and brackets
  • Bolts, studs and flange faces, coated in place
  • Pump bodies, impellers and casings
  • Valves, fittings and ship repair parts
  • Large castings and weldments too big for an oven
  • Wear parts that need both corrosion and abrasion protection

Close to the East Coast yards

We’re in Elkton, Maryland, at the top of the Chesapeake Bay, within a day’s drive of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast shipbuilding and repair yards. Parts can ship to our shop, or our crew travels to the yard.

How it works

  1. Coating review. Send photos, the part, the service environment and your outage window, or your existing coating spec. Engineering specification within one business day.
  2. Quote within three business days.
  3. Coat it in our Elkton, MD shop or on site with mobile prep and cure rigs, scheduled to your maintenance window.
  4. Verify. Thickness, hardness and cure are measured and documented before parts ship or before we leave.

What we don’t do

We coat accessible surfaces. We don’t do confined space entry, tank or vessel linings, or heat exchanger internals.

Why people call us

We’re an applicator, not a paint company. You pick the coating, or we help you pick one, and then we put it on. We’re certified to apply Cerakote, Whitford Xylan®, Belzona, Sherwin-Williams, PPG, Hempel, Jotun and Carboline liquid systems, in our shop in Elkton, Maryland or out at your site.

We’ve been ISO 9001 certified for over three years, we were recertified in 2026, and we’re working on AS9100 now. Our corrosion barrier has been tested to 4,000 hours of ASTM B117 salt spray. And we move fast. You’ll have a spec from an engineer within one business day and a quote within three.
