What AEGIS does
AEGIS applies a portfolio of engineered industrial coating systems matched to substrate, service environment, and failure mode. Fluoropolymer release, fluoropolymer corrosion barrier, tungsten carbide reinforced wear protection, conductive PTFE for static dissipation, and low friction systems for galling and slip critical service. We do not lock you into one chemistry. We pick the system that fits the asset.

Where is AEGIS located?
AEGIS coating operations are based in the eastern United States. Most jobs ship to our Elkton MD facility for fast turnaround. Field deployable crews travel to client sites for assets too large to ship such as paper machine rolls, installed structural steel, and anchor bolts in place.
What certifications does AEGIS hold?
AEGIS coatings have been tested to ASTM B117 (4,000 hour salt spray), ASTM D870 (water immersion), and FDA compliant grades where applicable. Specific NACE, ISO, and customer specific conformity statements are available on request.
How quickly can AEGIS turn around a coating job?
